Pavilion Heralding Spring
知春亭

The two small islands, connected by bridges consecutively to the east shore of KunMing Lake, are an ideal place to view the Summer Palace, relax, and watch the sunset.

The name for the pavilion derives from the fact that the willow trees here are an early indication of springtime, when the leaves begin to grow and turn green.
