YuanMingYuan is a great place to enjoy water lillies and lotus flowers - with tens of thousands in many of the lakes, especially QiChunYuan and ChangChunYuan. The leaves appear at the end of May and the flowers towards the end of June. The best places to see them are marked on our specially designed map.
